Although it's hard to admit sometimes, a lot of good things come to Philadelphia from New York. This time around it's NYC food favorite, Goodburger.
Starting May 3, Philadelphians can get a 'good' taste of it when the chain opens its first non-Manhattan location in center city. Named the best burger in New York by the New York Times, Goodburger has been a foodie darling in the Big Apple since it debuted four years ago. But the chain doesn't bring big city prices. Goodburgers are slightly pricier than your average Whopper, but these $7 cheeseburgers are worth it!
GB chefs mold each patty by hand before cooking it to order. If you dine in, you'll eat your burger with china and silverware--and if it's take-out night, your meal comes in biodegradable packaging. Or if you're not in the mood for a patty, Goodburger also offers turkey burgers, chicken sandwiches, Texas chili and veggie burgers.
Top off the meal with a sweet treat, a Ben & Jerry's milkshake, or forego cookie dough for wine or beer.
