Even for the most cynical person you know, a good magic show can be fun and awe-inspiring. There are even some magicians that take a simple slight-of-hand to an entirely new level. Enter: David Copperfield, who will prove that seeing is believing this month at the Academy of Music.
On May 16 or 17 don't miss Copperfield's "Intimate Evening of Grand Illusion," during which he's almost sure to perform one of his most well-known illusions: pulling 13 lucky audience members up on stage and making them disappear, only to reappear at the end of the show. So don't expect rabbits in top hats or sawing anyone in half--these illusions are meant to challenge the mind and imagination.
